ITINERARY

*Day 1*	*USA/Rome*
*Day 2*	Rome -- Welcome to Rome! Meet your English-speaking tour leader and transfer by motor coach to your hotel for check in. Before dinner tonight enjoy a walk with your tour escort through Rome’s beautiful squares featuring the Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. (B,D) *Welcome Dinner with wine and music “Da Benito Restaurant”.*
*Day 3*	*Rome* -- This morning experience a very special guided tour of the priceless collection of art and treasures in the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums. You will be amazed by the beautiful wall frescoes created by Michelangelo, Perugino and Botticelli. The unique ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is surely one of Michelangelo's greatest achievements. Continue to St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the Christian world, built over the tomb of St. Peter. Then proceed to the Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum, with a stop at the Coliseum – a testament to the greatness of Rome's past. Continue your full day tour by viewing the Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus. Leisure evening in Rome. (B)
*Day 4*	*Rome/Assisi/Siena/Montaione* -- Morning departure for Tuscany. En route we will be a stop in Assisi to visit the Basilica that houses the crypt with the remains of St. Francis as well as masterpieces by Cimabue and Giotto. Enjoying the Umbrian countryside, passing by the shores of Lake Trasimeno we will approach Siena famous for 'Il Palio', the bareback horse race and the city of Saint Catherine. Late afternoon arrival at our hotel Mannaioni in the Tuscany countryside. (B)
*Day 5*	*Tuscany countryside/Pisa --* Breakfast at the hotel this morning at leisure to relax at your hotel enjoying the views and strolling through the alleyways of the village of Montaione where your hotel is located. In the afternoon a drive to the city of Pisa where we will have time to explore the field of Miracles with the famous leaning tower, the Duomo and the Baptistery. Early afternoon return to your hotel. (B)
*Day 6*	*Tuscany countryside/San Gimignano/Winery/Outlet mall/Florence --* In the morning drive through the beautiful Tuscan hillsides, Chianti vineyards lined with cypress trees, olive groves and visit the medieval town of San Gimignano. Late morning we will continue for a chianti wine tasting and lunch in a mediaval castle in the heart of the countryside. In the afternoon we will visit The Barberino Outlet Mall (Gucci, Armani, Vuiton, Burberry, Valentino) Late afternoon arrival and check in at your hotel in Florence. (B,L) .
*Day 7*	*Florence* -- In the morning enjoy a guided walking tour of Florence and its higlights including the Accademia to see Michelangelo's original 'David' statue, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistry with its 'Gates of Paradise' doors and Signoria Square. Rest of the day free to shop and experience Florence on your own. *Farewell dinner tonight with wine at restaurant Il Latini. (B,D)*
*Day 8*	*Florence/USA --* *After breakfast transfer to Florence airport for your flight back to the US*
